No payments today

No real ride can currently be booked or cancelled. The grid below is a product proposal, not active transactional terms. Final terms and every mandatory consumer right will prevail.

Before future confirmation

DuoVoie must display the operator identity, service, date, total price, currency, $0 platform fee, driver contribution, applicable taxes, payment method, cancellation policy and other required information. A retainable contract copy will be sent within the legal period.

No amount will be withheld unless clearly disclosed and accepted or where it would conflict with a mandatory right.

Passenger cancellation — proposal to validate

  • More than 24 hours: proposed full refund.
  • 4 to 24 hours: proposed 50% allocation to the driver and refund of the rest.
  • Under 4 hours or no-show: proposed payout under final terms.
  • Documented serious circumstances: possible human review.

The 50% and last-minute amounts will activate only after legal review confirms they are clear, reasonable and consistent with consumer protection.

Driver cancellation

A full passenger refund including fees is planned. DuoRelais may look for a compatible departure without imposing it. Cancellation may affect a separate reliability indicator with a dispute mechanism.

Protected payment

The payment provider will control authorization, capture, payout, refund and disputes under disclosed terms. DuoVoie promises no method — card, PayPal, deposit, Interac or Wise — before provider agreements and required checks.

Where a distance-contract cancellation legally gives a refund right, the mandatory timeline applies. The future ticket will show the refund date, method, proof and available recourse.

Pay at pickup

If the driver enables cash, a verified booking and fixed amount remain planned. DuoVoie may record “paid” and “received” confirmations but cannot recover money handed over directly, guarantee a refund or protect the driver from a no-show. This difference must be accepted before selection.

Delay and linked return

A return moved because the outbound is late will not be treated as a silent new listing. Passengers receive the new time; beyond the threshold published in final terms, penalty-free cancellation and refund will be offered where required.

Claim and dispute

Every decision will state its reason and evidence considered. Drivers and passengers may request human review through the contact form. No internal process removes mandatory recourse, including statutory cancellation or chargeback rights where they apply.
